Before larger quantities are made

Injection Molding Quality Inspection

Quality inspection before, during, and after injection molding helps find material, fit, dimension, appearance, and packing problems before they affect a larger production quantity or shipment.

Material Condition

  • Raw material inspection
  • Moisture testing before molding
  • Helps prevent unsuitable material conditions

Fit & Dimensions

  • First parts checked against the drawing
  • Agreed features confirmed before volume
  • Find fit and dimension problems early

Production Consistency

  • Regular production sampling
  • Visual checks while the order is running
  • Identify part variation before it spreads

Final Parts & Packing

  • Finished-part samples reviewed
  • Packing method checked before shipment
  • Inspection follows the project requirements, not a claimed 100% check of every part

Quality records

Quality Documentation for Injection Molding Projects

Receive the inspection and validation records required to review and approve your injection molded parts, matched to the drawing and agreed project requirements.

  • Documents matched to your part and approval process: required records are agreed according to the drawing, industry requirements, and customer approval needs.
  • Inspection results you can review: records document the agreed dimensional checks, part approval, and validation activities.
  • Quality systems relevant to your project: ISO 9001 supports our general quality management system; IATF 16949 and ISO 13485 apply in the relevant automotive and medical project context.

After sample approval

In-House Tooling Support After Sample Approval

After sample approval, the same in-house team provides tooling maintenance, mold issue review, and approved mold modifications to support stable injection molding production.

01

Routine Tooling Maintenance

Routine mold cleaning and required maintenance are completed by the in-house tooling team that supports injection molding production.

02

Mold Issue Review and Repair

When mold wear or damage may affect a part, the tooling and production teams review the mold and molded parts together and arrange required repair.

03

Approved Mold Modifications

For approved part-design or production changes, the related mold modification and next trial can be completed in the same factory.

Frequently asked questions

Custom Injection Molding FAQs

Which industries do you support with custom injection molding?
We support custom injection molding for medical and dental, automotive, electronics, aerospace, energy, and data center parts. The production setup is based on your drawing, resin, part size, production environment, quantity, and required quality documents—not only the industry name.
How do you choose standard or ISO Class 8 cleanroom molding?
We review the part and its requirements first. General production parts can use standard injection molding; parts that require a controlled, low-dust environment can use ISO Class 8 cleanroom molding. Engineering plastics and larger molded parts are also matched to the material, mold, and machine requirements.
Can you transfer an existing injection mold in China?
Yes. Send the available mold files, photos or video, resin specification, previous production information, and expected quantity. After the mold arrives, our team inspects the mold, runs trial molding, checks the parts, and confirms required work before injection molding production restarts.
Can you mold PEEK, PPS, and other engineering plastics?
Yes, for suitable engineering plastics injection molding projects. We review the specified resin, part design, mold, and production requirements before confirming the production approach. Materials may include PEEK, PPS, PPSU, PA66 with glass fiber, POM, PC, PPO, and other specified resins.
Which injection molding quality documents can you provide?
When required and agreed for your project, documents may include FAI, dimensional inspection reports, MSA, CPK, PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ, and production inspection records. Documents are matched to the part drawing and customer approval requirements, not sold as one fixed package.
Do medical and dental parts always need cleanroom injection molding?
No. We select standard injection molding or ISO Class 8 cleanroom molding according to the part specification and customer requirements. This keeps the production environment matched to the actual project.
What do you need for an injection molding quote?
For a new project, send a 2D drawing, 3D STEP or STP file, resin specification, expected mold life, and production quantity. For an existing mold in China, also send available mold files, photos or video, mold age or shot history when available, and previous production information.
